Macular degeneration is one of the most common severe vision impairments affecting Australians today. Also known as Age-related macular degeneration (AMD), it is characterised by a loss of central vision.
Based in Fairfield, Dr John Musumeci is an optometrist who can assist in the management of macular degeneration and other macular pathologies using the latest scanning technologies.

For patients with wet AMD, Dr John can assist in diagnosis before referring you to an ophthalmologist for further treatment. These supplements and strategies are also available to patients with dry AMD.
